Joe Plays the Piano!
Music is one of my hobbies. I play slide trombone in several
groups, and piano in a few.
A while ago I took a short course in playing boogie-woogie and
blues style. Here are a few of my efforts in midi file format
for your amusement: (You'll need a sound card or other midi file
player for these. Use your "Download" option to get them. If
you're as old as I am, you'll probably remember these tunes.)
- SEA_CRUI.MID "Sea Cruise" -
This was made popular in the 50's by Frankie Ford.
- JB_GOODE.MID "Johnny B. Goode" -
the Chuck Berry classic.
- GDTMSROL.MID "Let the Good Times Roll"
- There were several versions of this. The one I remember best was by
Shirley and Lee.
- BLUMNDAY.MID "Blue Monday" -
as popularized by Antoine "Fats" Domino
- KAN_CITY.MID "Kansas City" -
I'm sure there were several versions of this, too. I remember Wilbert
Harrison's best. This midi file also has bass, drum, organ and guitar
backing tracks.
