A step-by-step method to integrate Club Sched service into your web site:
- Decide on any custom borders or logos you will use. For example, this site
uses a custom top border, mytop.html, to set the mood and display a current page header.
It uses a custom left border, myleft.html, to control navigation within the site.
- Create HTML and image files as necessary. If your site already uses borders,
you may be able to use them directly, or modify them into stand-alone files for use with
Club Sched. You can also copy and modify the border and content files from
this site to suit your needs. Copy the JavaScript from our border files to easily incorporate
"Smart Headers". If desired, your custom files may refer to stylesheet file
res_style.css within your Club Sched account.
Note: Navigation links within your border must
include target="_top". If not, the link will change only
the border contents, not the whole page!
- Configure your Club Sched account. Use the Custom Borders and Custom Logos
screens to incorporate your borders and/or logos. The screens are interactive, so you can
immediately see the effects of new settings as you make them. Adjust the settings and your
custom code until everything looks just right.
- Adjust Club Sched presentation style as necessary. If your site requires
different fonts or colors than Club Sched uses by default, you can use the
Advanced Customization screen to edit the stylesheet file, res_style.css, that controls
how your calendar system appears.
- Update your site navigation. Add a new navigation link to your Club Sched
account, or replace the link to your obsolete calendar.
